Getting started with CoremainTech
From installation to your first report: activation, setup, import, backups, and answers to situations that might surprise you.
Installation
CoremainTech runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). No internet is needed to work with documents.

Activation
The license is tied to a specific computer and checked without internet.
- On first launch, choose a language: Українська, English or Polski.
- On the activation screen, the app shows a PC code like XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Copy it.
- Send us the code with a request, by email or by phone.
- After payment you'll receive an activation key. Paste it into the field on the activation screen.
- The app checks the key's signature and PC binding, then opens the main window.
First-time setup
Fill in the details once and they'll go into every document automatically.
Company details
Name, details, business sector: IT, design offices and manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, HoReCa or general.
Commission and signatory
Commission members and the person who signs the documents.
Document language
Set separately from the interface language. The currency is filled in automatically: UAH, PLN or USD.

Creating documents
- Add assets to the register by hand or by importing from 1C or another program.
- Select items and create a write-off report. Enter the reason and the “After write-off” route: disposal, sale or dismantling.
- The app prepares the TEO, order and handover report with the same data.
- Save documents as DOCX, print them or save as PDF. The whole set can be output in one click.
Tip: the “New document based on this one” button keeps the same commission and details, so you only need to change the subject.
Import from 1C and other programs
Supported: exports from 1C and other accounting programs, any CSV and XLSX spreadsheets (including from Excel), as well as DOCX and backups. The app detects the encoding (Windows-1251, 1250, UTF-8, UTF-16), delimiter and column names on its own.
- Choose a file to import.
- Check the preview: exactly what will be added.
- Confirm the write. The summary shows: added, duplicates skipped, errors.
Connecting the AI assistant
The AI assistant is optional and is licensed separately. A key “without AI” unlocks the whole app except AI features.
- Get a license with AI, or a new activation code to add AI later. It's entered in Settings → License → Activation code.
- Open Settings → “AI key”, paste the key and click “Save”.
- “Assistant” appears in the side menu. The remaining requests for today are shown in Settings.
Backups
The app has two different kinds of copies. It's important to understand the difference.

| Situation | Explanation |

| The activation screen appeared mid-work | The license term has ended. Your data is in place: enter a new key and keep working. |
| A license “until the 31st” ended on the evening of the 31st | The term includes the last day until 23:59:59. |
| An auto-backup won't open on another PC | It's encrypted with this PC's key. To move data, you need an export: backup-coremaintech-*.json. |
| My data “disappeared” | Check the .bak copy and the recovery\ folder in the data folder. A damaged file is no longer overwritten. |
| The AI replied with a standard text | The service was overloaded or the daily request limit was reached. The app used standard wording and the document was created. |
| The AI key disappeared after reinstalling | It's stored encrypted on the PC. After changing the PC or profile, enter it again. |
| Wrong time on the PC | The offline license counts the term by the computer's clock. Set the correct date and time. |
Tips
Do
- Export a backup regularly and keep it off the PC
- Check AI texts before signing
- Change the AI key if it has been exposed somewhere
Don't
- Treat auto-backups as portable: they won't open on another PC
- Send the AI key in chats or show it in screenshots
- Rely on AI as a legal review
